watch turns black quickly

It was on . So I turned it off . Now it turns black with wrist down. Then goes on with wrist up . Is that his it should be ?

Then I changed the face . Seems to be on all the time . I think that did it . Thanks for your help .

Thank you . However , the setting under Dispkay and Brightness is already on “Always on”.

is there another setting I might look at? Thank you .
