How to view photo albums from a friend who shares my iCloud

I am trying to receive photo albums from my wifes apple device. We have set up sharing via icloud but it doesn’t seem to share. Do I have to send each album individually from her account. Or is there an auto Mac way to see these albums under the iCloud share function?
