Issue with a folder on a new MacPro

"All of a sudden" one my folders on the bottom "bar" now has a "?" superimposed on top of it. ALSO, I cannot open the folder. ALSO I am reluctant to move it to the trash.

HELP!

Do you mean a folder in the dock has a? On it?

If so, find the original item in the file system, and drag it back into the dock, remove the orphaned folder from the dock. They are just aliases that point to the original items.
