New MacBook Air M2 2022- Is it a waste to charge with 140W USB-C Power Adapter ? What is the maximum watts the 2022 MacBook Air can technically handle for charging?

Hi,


The 67 watt charger will give you the same fast charge as the 96 or 140 watt, so there is no need for using either the 96 or 140 watt, but you can if you want to, it just isn't going to charge any faster.

So that means the MacBook Air M2 is only technically able to use 67 watts and the charging component will not accept any higher watts even though it can safely handle higher wattage such as the 140W USB-C Power Adapter ?
