after synchronizing cinematic clip with audio file into one clip, all the cinematic options disappears

after synchronizing cinematic clip shoot on my iPhone, with an audio file into one clip, all the cinematic options disappears, and i see the synched clip in the time line as a regular clip and not as cinematic one. any idea how to sync a cinematic clip and keep it that way in final cut pro?

This does not seem to be possible anymore as I cannot adjust the slowmotion in Quicktime the way I could before (and thus restore the precious audio that has been lost to the slow motion). Anyone know how to get around this problem? I need the audio from the slow motion clip but I deleted it from my phone! When I airdrop the video back to my iPhone the slow motion controls are no longer available in the edit pane. What a pain!

iPhone Video files have audio clipped Has anyone noticed an issue with the audio track on video files produced by the iPhone (in my case with iPhone 13 Pro Max or 14 Pro Max) ? Probably not noticeable until you get into detailed edit, but I've noticed that the first couple of frames of video files have no audio. The audio only starts after the second frame. Tried High Efficiency and Most Compatible formats and also tried HD 30fps, 4K 30fps and 4K 60fps. If you edit 2 video clips together and their sound tracks have a reasonable high volume of sound (eg background traffic noise, etc etc), then when playback passes between the clips, there is a noticeable 'blip' as you pass over the gap in the audio. The only workaround seems to be to truncate at least the first couple of frames from each clip. I've discovered this problem using iPhone video files imported to Corel VideoStudiio on my PC, but also using Apple's own iMovie software on the phone. I intend to raise with Apple Support but just wondered if anyone else had come across this.

Cinematic video filmed on iPhone appear black when imported to iMovie on ipad Cinematic video clips dropped into iMovie on ipad appear black, but the audio plays. The clips were filmed in cinematic mode on iPhone. How to I resolve this?

Put the sync clip in a project. Double click the sync clip to go inside it and set the cinematic focus how you like. The sync is like a compound clip, just a container for a video clip and one or more audio clips.
