New iPhone sending emails

Hello. I got a new iPhone today. I am still using my previous one. The email accounts on the new phone are the same as my old one. Something very strange happened. Everyone I had sent an email to in the last 6 months got it again. So I literally have 100s of contacts getting emails I sent them from at least 6 months ago. This happened with all 4 email accounts I have setup in Mail. any idea why this would happen? VERY confused!

Yeah. My guess is that sent messages made their way to her (my sisters) outbox for whatever reason. When the new phone was setup, mail said “hey let’s try sending these” even though they were sent. Very strange nonetheless.

I will have to look. I just don't understand how everything was copied exactly the same that it would resend all of the emails I sent?
