I have followed the instructions in the documentation to assign a shortcut to a style. When I get to the menu showing the function keys they are all grayed out. What am I doing wrong?

I think I figured this out. The document I'm working in is shared with 1 collaborator. If I save my own copy I can create style shortcuts in the saved copy. It appears that for some reason you can't set style shortcuts if the document is shared.
