iMessage voice text

How do you recover a sent voice note in iMessage? For example: you sent someone a voice message and it expired from your end. Where can you find it to listen to it?

You had to adjust your Settings>Messages>Keep Messages = Forever

Ask your correspondent if s/he can send you back that voice message.

Voice messages I was wondering if someone could help me understand voice messages a bit better. I sent a voice message to someone and after listening to it back (after I sent it) I noticed that the voice message disappeared.
