How do I update the software on a iPhone 6 to iOS 13

The iPhone 6, released by Apple eight years ago, cannot use an iOS version greater than 12.5.5.

If you need to use an App which requires a newer iOS, it will require a newer iPhone, which is capable of supporting the required iOS.

That is not possible. It’s time to purchase a later model iPhone.

Technology does become obsolete.
