How to get old versions of macOS - Apple Support
Use Safari for download links, and disable any VPN apps that might be in use.
If you’re upgrading past Mojave, all your apps need to be 64-bit. This includes drivers for printers and scanners. To find existing 32-bit apps that’ll need to be updated, upgraded, retired, or replaced, you can use the Go64 tool.
Have a complete and current backup prior to the upgrade.
