Can't download the Fitness + app on my iPad

I was hoping to use the Fitness + app on an old iPad I've kept around, but when I access the App Store and look for Fitness +, I don't see it. Does that mean the iPad isn't compatible with the app?


It's an iPad Air, model A1475, running 12.5.5.

That nearly 9-year old iPad model is NOT compatible with Apple Fitness+ nor the app.

That iPad model is simply too old.
