I read several people have this same problem and that it has been addressed several times but I can't find any of the discussions and it's a problem I need to fix, I hope someone can direct me to how to solve this issue
You can't drag and drop to connected clips. Select the clip or edit point you want for the transition, and double click the transition in the browser.
