MacBook Air password reset

I’m trying to reset my MacBook password because I can’t login but when I enter my Apple ID and password it just says there was an error connecting to the Apple ID server

Now, when I try to reset the password by logging into my iCloud account it gives me an error “There was an error connecting to the Apple ID server”. Even if I try to reset my iCloud ID and password, it says there is no internet connection when my internet is connected to a stable Wi-if network. Can someone help?

Unable to Reset Password - MacBook Pro I can’t log into my new computer because I (embarrassingly) forgot my password. I have the reset password assistant pulled up. When I enter my Apple ID and password for my Apple ID, it says, “There was an error connecting to the Apple ID server.” I’ve been attempting this for 4 days, and am growing more & more frustrated. Please help. Thank you.
