VLOOKUP

Have a new MacBook Pro with the native Numbers 11.2 in OS Monterey. Vlookup simply does not work. Am very familiar with the formula, and the syntax is identical to Vlookup in Excel. Do I need a Numbers add-in to get this functionality? I've tried YouTube and older postings for Numbers Lookup.

VLOOKUP drops some rows and doesn't populate. I have a very weird issue with my Numbers for MacOS. Whenever I hold and drag down in my VLOOKUP column to apply the formula to all my students, VLOOKUP gradually omits more and more data from the range. It looks like this - as I go lower in the lookup column, the less source data is being taken. The lower I go the less data from the right columns is being used (marked pink)

connect my number with Bloomberg formula Hi I am a Bloomberg Anywhere user, I work in a bank. when I am in office, I can connect my excel sheet with Bloomberg , with some tab linked to the Bloomberg formula where I can get the updated number everyday . any idea I can do such things on my MacBook Pro? thanks

Numbers vlookup return value is one row off Wondering if this problem persists across Numbers in general. A simple tab to tab lookup using the first column input and the third column returned the value from the row above instead of the row found.

Working fine in Numbers 11.2 on macOS 12.1

You might take a look at XLOOKUP, a similar function with more flexibility.

I use both vlookup and xlookup frequently, can you give us more info on your particular use case that is failing please?
