Closing safari windows on ipad

How to close many safari windows (not tabs) on ipad?

If you have multiple WINDOWS open of any app, including Safari, then the only I know how to close those windows is through the App Switcher. I pinch with 5 fingers on the screen to bring up the App Switcher and then just flick the open applications up and away to close them.
