Get ready for your New iPhone but I haven’t ordered or bought one

Hello!

I bought my iPhone 12 in february last year and in this february a new prompt showed up in settings:

”Ready for your new iPhone. Your data is ready to be moved…”

The peculiar thing about this is that neither I nor anyone I know has ordered a iPhone 13.

By the time the prompt showed up my iPhone has been acting really strange. I can’t download new apps unless i restart the phone, also some apps can’t be started unless i restart.

My phone has also been freezing up a lot, which I’ve never encountered before.

I’ve tried resetting my phone to system settings but it didn’t work. I have insurance, should I turn it in?

Hello,

See these steps:

1) Check your storage: How to check the storage on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch

2) Check the battery health: iPhone Battery and Performance

3) If no help, consider a factory reset: Restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod to factory settings

Good luck.
