how do I get photos back if they weren't backed up to my iCloud

my iPhone wouldn't turn on and I tried 10 times to turn it off and on and when I plugged it into my computer it told me I had to update it or do a whole factory reset. after it told me I coulndt update it I had to factory reset my phone and literally EVERYTHING is gone from my phone.

You have to restore them from whatever other backup mechanism you used.


If you didn't backup your phone to iCloud or your computer, they're gone.
