How do I authenticate to access Pages files on my phone?
Trying to access a file but getting a message that I have to authenticate before U can open the file. No option to do that shown.

A read through of the document linked by Jack-19 (and recommended by Apple) does not seem to answer the OP's question.
A search of ther Pages User Guide for iPhone for "authenticate" brought up only one result, to this location: Use iCloud Drive with Pages on iPhone - Apple Support (CA)
