Scanning from Canon MG4200 to macBook Air

I am getting the message 'You do not have permission to open the application' when using a scanner on Mac. All updates are applied but still cannot scan. I have also applied all updates relating to my Canon MG 4200 Scanner

MacBook Air 13″, macOS 11.6

If you updated macOS according to 'You do not have permission to open the application' when using a scanner on Mac - Apple Support, that's all you can do.


I suggest that you contact Apple Support and tell them you are still encountering that problem, despite having updated macOS.
