iPhone 6

i have an old iPhone 6 on which I was thinking of using a new Apple ID and remove the previous one, but when I sign in my new Apple ID through settings it just says verification failed even though I put in the right Apple ID. Is there a solution to this problem ?

Do you know the password of the old Apple ID?

If yes then you may be better turning off Find My (Activation lock) first in Settings, Find my.

If that had all been done and you are setting up, make sure your SIM card has service, you cant activate iphone without working SIM card.

If you don't know the password for the old Apple ID then
