I was referring to the link you have shared in the first message (web browser) where there is no download or update button active , My App Store doesn't have Mojave or any other MacOS upgrades despite of searching separately.
This Mac is a 2017 make, I do not see any option to either upgrade or update to 10.14.6 when I click on mojave, is it due to in compatibility
If you're accessing it in the Mac App Store, click on Download.
If you're accessing it in your web browser, change the https at the beginning of the site address to macappstore.

its the same page that I previously used while selecting mojave. it doesn't show any option to upgrade or download for me. I can share screen shots of the page if required
