I am looking into buying an iPad Air as my daily driver. However, I need to download a pan Siouan keyboard from languagegeek as I type in the Pan Siouan keyboard for work daily. Can the iPad Air download new keyboards like this?
iPads/iPhones can only download things from Apple's App Store. So you need to be able to find it there. An example is

Also such 3rd party keyboards do not work with a hardware keyboard, if that was what you were planning.
Languagegeek keyboards are only available for Mac and Windows, so if you need those specifically it would be best not to get an iPad.

Thanks for the response. I suspected just as much but couldn't find anything definitive in my search.
And thank you for the link. I think using the Lakota keyboard and the Lithuanian keyboard together, although inconvenient, should give me all the characters I need. I only need it in short bursts for media projects.
