Screen rotation not working after latest iOS update iOS 15.3

Hi community!

Has anyone experienced any issues with screen rotation after iOS update (iOS 15.3). Screen rotation has stopped working once I installed the update.

I was able to fix the issue by turning off the Zoom feature.

  1. Click on the settings app
  2. Click on Display & Brightness
  3. Click on View
  4. Choose Standard view (device will restart).
  5. Click on the home button and the screen should rotate.

If you see any unusual behaviour immediately after a system software update, you should perform a forced restart of your iPad - as doing so will often resolve an isolated software issue:

  • On an iPad with a Home button: Press and hold the top button and the Home button at the same time. When the Apple logo appears, release both buttons.
  • On other iPad models: Press and quickly release the volume up button, press and quickly release the volume down button, then press and hold the top button. When the Apple logo appears, release the button.

Same. Doesn’t work with Safari on my iPhone unless I constantly restart my Iphone. 11. Can’t get an answer from Apple. That and the pinch, expand and scroll functions not working on most websites, particularly over images and ads, is why I’m going to trade it in for an Android device even though I haven’t used another device since 2007.

Thanks for this! I was opposite- I was in standard view and switched to zoom. I remember having to do this a couple of years ago with my screen with them and I cannot get it back to my regular brightness. But once I did the switch from standard to zoom or back again depending on which one I was in when it happened it would fix itself.
