I am still running HighSierra, why when I look for a software update does nothing show up?

Back up your data, check your applications for compatibility, and depending on which iMac model you have, click on Mojave, Catalina, Big Sur, or Monterey; they're full-version upgrades and won't appear in the Updates list. It needs to be at least a 2012 one to run any of them.
Catalina and newer won't run 32-bit software; download and use Go64 to scan for it. To check other programs, click here and look them up.

Thanks for the info. Mine is a late 2011 so I might be hooped, but I’ll see what I can find.
10.13.6 is as far as you can go, but which SW do you need?
