I've also found that even though the 14" MacBook Pro was released a few months ago, there still is minimal options out there other than cheap snap on cases. I've always preferred a soft leather case (like a book style when closed). The only new leather ones I've found have been on Etsy, and they aren't cheap and will take a bit to get to the US so you'd have to be patient if ordering one.
Coincidentally I had actually just pulled out my old Late 2013 MacBook Pro (A1502) to update the machine and get it ready to give to a family member, and I still had a like new leather case on it... the size got me wondering, and tried it on my new 14" MacBook Pro and it fits perfect! Dims on the new model are very similar to the old 2013 MacBook Pro! The only thing I don't care for is the straps on each corner, the newer models have less screen border area (vs the 3/4 inch border on the 2013 model) so it does somewhat cover up a small amount of each corner for the toolbar... but it's an easy enough thing to get used to. With that being said, my case and the dims from my 2019 MacBook Pro I had are nowhere close and I could not use that case for the new machine, so I am using the 2013 model case I had instead.
