Notes App_ how to change title/heading of a note

I copied and pasted a document and added it to NOTES. The heading, or title, just says “new note”. I’d like to change that to a title that I can see that will identify what the document is about. I know how to change the “FOLDER” name, or title, but not the note itself.

Thanks,

D

Hi CBlamby, thank you for posting in Apple Support Communities.

The document you pasted needs to be moved down for you to then add a Title.

It can be tricky but if you can tap the left edge of the scanned document hopefully the cursor (Flashing Line) will appear and as long as it appears to the left side of the scanned document you can then press Enter a few times to move it down allowing you to click on the space above and add a Title.

If the flashing line appears to the right of the scanned document please press the left arrow key so it is to the left of the scanned document and then press enter.

Hope this helps.
