First, you are not going to get a virus from Apple or it's products. You Operating system has a built in defense against viruses called gatekeeper. It's part of the operating system. I don't know much about this product called Defense Browser. But you could download and run Malwarebytes. Just to check.https://www.malwarebytes.com/mac
There is no such thing as a Trojan virus, and no way for a website to tell that there's malware on a macOS or iOS system unless you manually uploaded a file to it. Except as noted, all messages warning of malware in a web browser are scams.

Bob .There actually is an app called Defense Browser. When looked up and clicked on it goes to the App Store and then says not available is US. That by itself gives me pause.
There is no way on Earth that I would click on a browser popup (regardless whether it is Safari, Chrome, Edge, etc.), that told me I have a virus. No one remote can scan your computer and know whether or not you have a virus. You would have to allow such remote access.
Apparently I was misunderstood. I clicked on nothing. I typed in google search for defense browser to see what it was and it took me to the App Store that said (not available in US). Now if this is a pop up alert and not something on the OP computer then it is a scam, not to be clicked on. Thats why I said that it gives me pause.
Do not respond to scam phishing popups or emails.
