When someone stops the Apple Music subscription, all songs in the library and playlists added from the Apple Music are not available anymore.
What happens if you become member again? Will these be the same when you left off?
Apple is unclear about how long the data from a paused subscription might be maintained, and there haven’t been many (any) reports I’ve encountered. If you do decide resubscribe, let us know how long the lapse was and what happened.

This is very unfortunate, I think that is Apple's deficiency. Do you know if that holds also for the downloaded songs?
To be more precise, when you stop being a member, you no longer can play downloaded songs. What happens if you resubscribe?
It’s like starting afresh. Your previous subscription is wiped out for good.
No unfortunately, it’s the same as starting over.
Become an Apple Music member again.
