Open Settings ➡️ Apple ID (Your Name at Top) ➡️ iCloud ➡️ Change Storage Plan: Tap here and then choose the Free 5GB plan. You will have then cancelled your current 50GB plan by choosing the free 5GB plan.

Go to Settings/[your name]/iCloud/Manage Storage/Change Storage Plan
