Wired lighting port connector not working for headphones or aux cord.

So this happened yesterday around 5-6 pm, I connected in my apple wired earbuds normally through the lightning connector and everything was fine, but later on my earbuds and aux cord stopped working on my iPhone 12, they work if I test it using other iPhones but on my phone it won’t do anything, the sound still plays through my phone speakers. I know my lighting connector still works because I can still connect my charger to my phone and it charges fine, I tried cleaning my lighting connector and the same nothing happened, I tried cleaning my ear buds lightning connector and it still did nothing. What should I do to fix this? Your help would be appreciated. Thank you.
