Touch ID on iPad Model MHNF3LL/A not available?
Previously set up iPad Model MHNF3LL/A with 'Face ID & Passcode'. Would like to add 'Touch ID' but don't see it in Settings.

Troubleshooting Touch ID:
Use the following links, in the order provided.
Your 2021 iPad Pro uses FaceID. All models of iPad in recent years support either TouchID or FaceID - but not both.
All iPad models that support TouchID have a physical Home Button at bottom centre of the screen - within which is the TouchID sensor - or for iPad Air4 and mini6, incorporate the TouchID sensor within the Top (Sleep/Wake) button.
iPad models supporting FaceID, such as your iPad Pro, have a FaceID sensor (consisting of an Infrared Dot Projector and TrueDepth Camera array) - this sensor being absent from iPad models that support TouchID.
If a unit has Face ID, it will not have the hardware required for Touch ID.
Thanks for your reply--I just came upon this as well. So, now I'll figure out how Facial ID works. Thanks again.
