Apple Music monthly subscription

I have recently subscribed. But I also have purchased music from iTunes for a number of years. If I quit Apple Music subscription, all of that music from the monthly goes back to Apple, right? How do I keep my iTunes purchased music from also being taken?

Yes, all the songs that you leased with Apple Music subscription will go away if you cancel or let the subscription expire. However, any music that you bought from the iTunes Store will remain. If (for some reason) they disappear, you can always redownload them.
