Invent some new and radical and previously unknown optical lensing technology, or avoid having overly bright light sources in the frame or shining on the lens, or use a lens hood or filter or similar techniques to avoid the light falling on the lens.

That’s called “lens flare”, and it’s an inherent property of all optical lenses, when bright light sources are within in the frame.
