i am being charged for a service i no longer use. I would like as well to cancel my apple account as i no longer use apple products. what to do?
You need to cancel the subscription first. click here-> How to cancel a subscription from Apple - Apple Support
Then you can request the complete deletion of your Apple ID from existence. click here-> How to delete your Apple ID account - Apple Support
This cannot be undone, so make sure you really want to delete your Apple ID account entirely. You cannot get it back and any purchases and content will be deleted with it.
Do note, that you can use your Apple ID without any Apple products. You can log in to you're account in iTunes on a Windows computer, or use Apple's online services at iCloud.com, tv.apple.com, music.apple.com. You can also use Apple Music on an Android device and access the iTunes Store and the Apple TV+ subscription service on Smart TVs, video game consoles, and streaming devices such as Roku and Fire sticks.
