App Store Blank on Mac mini

Numbers is not opening on my Mac. I tried to update it, but the App Store is showing a blank screen. How can I fix this?

What year model Mac Mini and what macOS is it running?

Startup in Safe Mode followed by a normal restart and test.

If that doesn't help, then you may need to reinstall macOS over the top.

Did Safe Mode help?

If not, then reinstall macOS Catalina as per the article that I post above.

Unfortunately, Safe Mode didn’t help. I also tried to reinstall macOS Catalina, but I get a message saying that important information needs to be downloaded and that it’s not able to do it. It said to try it later. I attempted several times, but I haven’t been unsuccessful.
