I cannot receive or send texts. The address is wrong. Somehow my email got into the address lines where it should be my phone. How can I change the email entry to my phone number?

In order to send SMS messages from an iPad, it must be connected with your iPhone.
On your iPhone, go to Settings>Messages>Text Message Forwarding and select your iPad.
