How do I check if the data has been backed up ? This phone has been in and out of service through carrier (AT&T) as my wife has moved her service to a new phone, but did not shut down the old number completely. So there is probably a backup of the phone before the service was last suspended.
Backups must occur before catastrophes. After a catastrophe it’s too late.
You restore from your backup that you made before your phone became disabled.
