Keynotes blank slide

I typed on the blank slide in Keynotes. When I add a new blank slide the text is still on the slide. How do I delete the text and get a master blank slide again (without losing the text on the prior slide)?

Keynote double slides on each number, first one empty? Hi! When I go play my slides there is an empty slide just before the right one (same slide number). What happened? I guess it has to do with when I added new slides. How do I get rid of the first empty one? Thanks

keynote I am setting up a presentation on Keynote and the slides are where I want them but upon playing the presentation, a blank slide appears. Why? and how duo i eliminate it

Go to View > Edit Slide Layouts

If you want to retain the text, copy it.
