iPhone Incomplete Screen Recording

When I play back the saved video of a screen recording, the whole first part is missing. I recorded a mobile game for about 20 minutes today. It was recording the whole time. Screen recording saved to device, went to watch it and it was only the last 6.5 minutes. Is there a setting that I’m missing somewhere?

My screen recording disappeared after I finished, how do I get it back? I screen recorded a live, which I have done before, ended the recording when I thought the live was over, turned it back on because it wasn’t, and when I checked back this morning, only the separate 3minute recording I took at the end was there. How do I get it back, that screen recording means a lot to me and I don’t know what to do, please help?

top left of iPhone status bar says recording? i was watching a video and noticed that the top left of my status bar said recording, I thought it was part of the video but when I went on other apps it was still there? This happened after I updated to IOS 15

No there is no such settings to record partial screen.
