I wanted to convert mp4 music to mp3, Is this possible?

So the songs i wanted to converted to mp3 from mp4 are songs i created in 3rd party music editing 3rd party apps and garageband. When i wanted to convert them they were greyed out.

The reasons i wanted to do this is because i wanted to use my music as a background for my twitch streams with StreamLabs OBS app. All my songs are DMCA/royalty free by the way. So is there any hope in fixing this or did i dun goofed?

Are the song files actually on your computer (which they probably need to be), or are they in iCloud?

Use a Duplicate File:

There are two steps: Duplicate, then Rename.

First: Duplicate the File:

First, make a duplicate so that the original file is not lost. To do so:

  1. Right-Click on the icon
  2. Duplicate

Then: Rename It:

  1. Right Click: the duplicate mp4 file (file name ends in "copy")
  2. Select: Rename
  3. Change: the extension to mp3
  4. Click: Use .mp3 button

See if it then works
