15.1.1 sound issue

on my iPhone 13 mini after the 15.1.1 update (i think) there are times where i cannot hear the other person. this happens for both incoming and outgoing calls, via either speaker or earpiece. i am forced to end the call and subsequent connection is fine. anybody experience this?
