How do I add a new person to People in Mac Photos?

Turn on face circles in veiw>show face names

Find a pic with that person that photos has put a circle around the face.

Name them.

Photos Staying in Imports Photos on Mac (Monterey) show only two people in the People tab in Photos, even though I have imported other photos of people. I can find them in recent imports but I can't move them into People. It says that the Mac scans photos and when you have enough photos of someone it will put them in People but what about one-off photos? Should I create my own album and put them in there? I am a techno dummy but if someone can tell me what I'm doing wrong I will appreciate it.

How do I create an album from an identified person? In macOS Big Sur's Photos app, there's a People Album. In it, there is a thumbnail for each identified person and clicking on that lets one view photos of that person. My goal is to share all pictures of one person. But there doesn't appear to be a direct way to do this (e.g. create a shared album from the thumbnail of that person). Is the only way to do this to manually select all the photos of that person and then create a shared album from those photos? What if Photos later identifies that person in more photos? Do I manually have to update the shared album with the newly identified photos (doesn't Photo sometimes do this in the background - in that case how would I even know which are new?) I must be missing something - this seems like a fairly basic/useful feature. My mom just died and I want to share all photos of her with friends and family.

Is there a way to share pictures that include the associated info (Title, Description)? I want to share 1000+ family pictures along with the description saying who is in the picture. I tried copying them to a portable drive and then loading the pictures onto another Mac running Photos. Pictures are there, but no Info. Is there a way to attach the info so that it goes along with the picture? Thank you!
