Touch ID Function and Home Button Replacement

I purchased a new home button. Could the Touch ID function work properly after I do the replacement?

The button has a code in it that must be matched to both the button cable and the secure enclave on the logic board. Only Apple has the equipment to do that. If it were any other way an iPhone could be hacked by putting a different Home button on a stolen phone.
