Generally that's an accidental event, not covered by warranty, sorry.

For your pieace of mind, make an appointment (*) and have your device inspected at an Apple Store or AASP (Apple Authorized Service Provider) among this list:--> Apple – Location Selector. After checking it out, they'll give you all the available options.

Regards

Giulio

As suggested by ProustGiulio, bends appearing in iPad are usually attributed to damage or mishandling of the iPad by the end-user. Damage claims are excluded from Apple’s limited one-year Warranty.

If you had the foresight of opting to purchase Apple’s AppleCare+ plan, this being an insurance product, you will have the security of being able to make claim with Apple regardless of fault. In such circumstances, a small excess/deductible charge is made - and you will receive a replacement (usually a reconditioned iPad of the same model and specification) iPad.

Out of Warranty repair/exchange by Apple is generally charged at c.60% of the “as new” price of the iPad.

You will know because you consciously purchased AppleCare+ cover when you bought your iPad - or within 60 days of doing so.

Regardless, you can check if you have AppleCare+ cover here:

https://checkcoverage.apple.com

If you haven’t paid an AppleCare+ plan, exchange of your damaged iPad is going to cost you c.60% of the as new price.
