Formulas and Display not showing correctly

On my Pages budget, i have 2 formulas (SUM) that go from A1 to A25 and one from D1 to D25

In the A column in A27, it shows the correct amount e.g. £25.74

BUT

In the D column in D27, it only shows £1, despite when i click on the box, on the bottom left hand side, it shows what the total is

Its happening in that one box on all the sheets for the rest of the year

I am confused why its working for one but not the other

Any help would be welcome

That is very unusual. The typical problem of a sum not being correct is that some of the cells being summed are formatted as text. Text "numbers" do not SUM, though you can add them up with the + operator. But you are saying when you double click on the cell with the SUM it says "formula result: £58.76" in the bottom left corner of the window so it couldn't be that.

Is the cell format "currency" or "custom"? You might try selecting the cell and doing Edit/Clear All to clear the cell then put the formula back in.

If Clear All doesn't work, a screenshot of your table showing the cell, the formula, the formula result, and the cell format might lead us to the answer or help us duplicate the problem. Right now I, for one, am baffled. Command Shift 4 to take a screenshot. Drag to create a rectangle around the area of the screen to be captured. I think the default location for the file is the desktop. When replying use the mountain icon to attach it to your post.
