Anything like Handoff available for Apple Music

Is there anything like Handoff available for Apple Music? Can’t believe that Apple never built this into the music apps. I have an iPhone 12, an iPad Mini 6 and a new M1 iMac and would think that Handoff - playing a song, album or playlist and then continuing it on another Apple device - would be pretty obvious. Like writing an email and then finishing on another device.

I have been trying the app Playoff but it still has glitches after being out for a few years and been updated several times.
