Visual Studio Code application launch error

I have installed 'Visual Studio Code' application but cannot launch it as it returns this error message (You do not have permission to open the application “Visual Studio Code”.)(Contact your computer or network administrator for assistance.)

You may have to give Visual Studio Full Disk Access via System Preferences-> Security & Privacy-> Privacy (tab)
