It asks for a passcode I don’t have one to update to iOS 15
iPhone 7, iOS 14
every time I update my iPhone manually.. it asks for a passcode. It's asking for the iPhone passcode that you would use to unlock your iPhone. Not some special code in order to update.
If you forgot your iPhone passcode, then you'd have a problem..
The passcode is the same one you use to unlock your phone.
