Facebook on iphone asking for password but working ok on macbook

When clicking the facebook icon on iphone 12 (IOS latest 14, not 15 yet) I get a screen with my tiny photo image in middle of screen and number of notifications not opened. Options at bottom of screen "Log in to Another Account" or "Sign up for Facebook". If I click on image "Enter your password" shows on screen.

No need to enter password when logging in on Macbook. Why is this issue happening on iphone? There was a recent facebook app update.

Googled but on recent comments re this that I could see.

Contact Facebook or look at their support site, not an iphone or Apple issue.
