My phone should be updated to IOS 14.8?

Then you guys don't have the same iphone. You have an iphone 6 that can't be upgraded past ios 12.

The iPhone 6S and higher can be updated to iOS 14.8

The iPhone 6 can be updated to iOS 12.5.4.

Please double check the version of iOS on your device.
